Proceeds benefit Deschutes County Sheriff's Search and Rescue
Support Search and Rescue!
In Deschutes County, search and rescue volunteers respond to a wide variety of backcountry emergencies, including searches for lost individuals, technical mountain and swiftwater rescues, responses to winter medical emergencies, and wildfire evacuations. Not only do volunteers contribute their time and energy , they must also provide their own equipment at an average personal investment of about $1500 to $2000 each. Funds raised help support these needs, enabling SAR to maintain and improve the emergency services provided to the citizens of a rapidly growing community and many visitors.
